How can I get the " OK, now 1000!" Achievement?

I don't have it yet, but there's the bigger combo multiplier upgrade along the way, so it might be related to this achievement.

I got this when replaying Bryce's story randomly and wasn't even racking up a significant combo at the time... I wonder if the game keeps track of your total combos across multiple playthroughs?

The easiest way I've found is to take the combo upgrade, and take your time fighting sado's hands, don't get hit, and the achievement is free

This is how I got it too. Combo multiplier and just wailed on those hands.
