moving game window (bug?)

hi, whenever I try to move the steam window it zooms straight downwards and off of the bottom of the screen. I want the game window to be to the right rather than in the top left of the screen. moving the window with arrow keys has the same result. is there any way to stop this happening? or another way to move the window that doesn't send it straight downwards?
