Unlock Advanced difficulty (in multiplayer)

Hey there!
Maybe I don't get it, but for some reason I can't set the difficulty to "advanced" when hosting a multiplayer game. Standard and Expert are unlocked, but advanced is not and I have no clue how to unlock this. It's only locked in multiplayer, and playable in the solo sessions. Any hints welcome.

there is no adnvance in multi. multi is balanced for standard and expert. they just dont erase the button.

wow thats annoying. easy is just no challenge at all. hard is close to impossible

Yeah, it is a VERY weird (imho very bad) design decision. The current devs did not make that call though so maybe they reactivate it. It is completely bogus. Some people have argued that the game is not "balanced" for that difficulty which is... ahm... not a sensible point to make. There is no "balance" of any kind necessary to activate the option.

Expert mode is possible. Maybe your decks are not decent or you dont unlock essential cards and heroes go to ringdb if you want build good deck for expert mode

While expert mode is indeed possible, it is also really is quite hard - in particular if you are not used to the genre. That being said, to advise looking up a deck online is missing the point completely. Doing so reduces your involvement quite drastically - it is just a bothersome form of cheating. You can do that, of course. No harm to cheat in a single player game. Still there should be a diffitulty for people who just want to play with a bit of challenge. Currently we only have laughably easy and extremely hard.

To cheat your way through an extremely hard mode is not for everyone.

I also thought at first that the expert difficulty is too hard, but now I think it's just perfect. 90 % of the time we beat the quest we're playing. You just need to have figured out both players decs and discus the strategy with your friend. It's super rewarding when you start succeeding. :)
