R.I.P Middle-Earth Map
The map was great for immersion in the game, I understand that the new model is better for the mobile players, but I wish there was a way to return to the old one in PC.

There's no mobile version :P
The new UI does benefit users with smaller monitors and screens though. Especially those who use Switch.

It isn’t for the switch though. The switch isn’t getting the update. The they said they were submitting console builds on the 23rd of last month and the switch version still isn’t updated. Approval doesn’t take nearly that long. So it seems like the switch version isn’t getting updates

No, the console build was delayed alongside the Adventure Mode delay so that the 1.5 patches and hotfixes could be applied to the builds before they were sent (also so that Adventure Mode wouldn't be delayed in that build as it was for PC):

The average approval process length is 1-2 weeks, so we should be seeing the minimum length approvals soon.

"It's all very dependent on when the consoles approve the update. A very "soft" assumption is approximately 2 weeks from submission (which submissions were last week). But unfortunately, there's no way to give a definitive date, as it's in the console's hands."

Of course the devs are going to tell you a story that gives them some leeway. The approval process is not that long for updates, not even close. Usually about 2 days to a week. If you need a decent example, 9th Dawn released on pc and consoles a month or two back and had some ai issues that required some patches. The first patch took maybe 3 days while all of the others were approved a day or two after submission. Far from 2 weeks. It seems like there may have been an internal delay that was longer than stated but the devs didn't want to own another delay so they are scape goating a bit

I've said all that I've found and heard in regards to it, honestly I can fully understand delaying the build from the 23rd Oct date, as Adventure Mode wasn't ready for PC at that point. This way, Adventure Mode at a dozen of the hotfixes that were applied to 1.5 can be included in the console build. I've no knowledge of the approval systems for the platforms this is being sent to, so for all I know you could be right. But I've yet to have reason to doubt their transparency so far, so I encourage you to look more into the approval systems for each of those platforms. It may work on a priority system for newer releases, such as 9th Dawn.

EDIT: It took a long time, but we now know the update is indeed happening: https://twitter.com/lotracg/status/1336418211445805061?s=20

That could be true. Maybe it’s the approval process, maybe it’s another internal delay. I guess only the devs can truly know and their communication is a little spotty though it does look like their Twitter is a little more active than other platforms so I guess that’s partially on me for not being on Twitter. Either way I look forward to seeing how the update plays out. I’ve heard a lot of mixed opinions so far

My misunderstanding, thanks for fix it.
