Everything you need there.
I can give you mine, once I test it out a bit ^^
Please share it :D Im very interested to see how people are dealing with double spheres atm. Its been a struggle for me to make a stronger double-sphered deck then any of the tri-sphere options.
I've mainly played with dual sphere decks and managed to beat every quest on normal with 250+ score. I don't know if they're stronger than tri-sphere decks, probably not, but it's good enough for normal with the added benefit of a highly specialized approach, something that I believe will become more important when coop is implemented.
The deck I used initially was an Arwen/Gimli/Legolas deck:
x2 Spike Trap
x2 Warrior Sword
X2 Feint
x2 Galadon Archer
x1 Longbeard Mapmaker
x2 Mithrandir's Advice
x2 Silvan Tracker
x1 Bow of the Galadhrim
x2 Dwarven Axe
x2 Imladris Caregiver
x2 Ithilien Lookout
x2 Man of Dale
x2 Round Shield
x2 Self Preservation
x2 Veteran Axehand
x2 Gandalf
Looking at it now, I see there's a lot of room for improvement. I didn't have all the cards unlocked, that's why there's only one Bow and some subpar cards like spike trap. However I did manage to beat all quests and get all the rewards first try with it, so if you only have the Legolas pack and the core set you could give this deck a try.
My other dual sphere deck was a Aragorn/Eowyn/Took deck, but with that one I had to replay some of the quests and tinker a little with the cards to get the full rewards.
Dual may not be the most optimal choice, but I'm having lots of fun with it, and getting good results as well.
Since they did not port the whole different resource thing for which I am thankful :D
Like, having the healing of Lore, the threat control of Spirit, and the high DPS of Leadership/Tactics, together, make for a balanced deck. When you double sphere, you lose one of those aspects, without having a REAL edge on the others :)
@Odok hell yea, Westfold Outrider is just so good.
@Odok I am currently trying out your deck. Some ideas after the first 3 games:
- Have you thought about switching Round Shield for Ranger Spear (maybe even one Raiment of war ) ?
- Haye you thought about using Erebor Record Keeper for Card Draw? Could maybe kick Longbeard Mapmaker, Man of Dale or Mithrandirs Advice.
Also I am trying a way to get Beorn and Quick Strike (since you use a Double Sphere ;) ) into the Deck, will keep you informed if I find a way.
in this thread.
It's pretty clear we're gonna get more cards comboing off the Silvan trait but for now it's good enough on Normal - consistently scores 265 (with zero healing in the deck). Not so great on Hard, but things have improved after I swapped Ereborn Watchman with Erkenbrand...but that one is so OP it makes any deck better.
Odok's deck looks interesting, will try messing about with it.
x2 Quick Strike
x2 Warrior Sword
X2 Feint
x2 Galadon Archer
x2 Erebor Record Keeper
x2 Silvan Tracker
x2 Bow of the Galadhrim
x2 Dwarven Axe
x2 Imladris Caregiver
x2 Ithilien Lookout
x2 Westfold Outrider
x2 Round Shield
x2 Self Preservation
x2 Veteran Axehand
x2 Gandalf
About raiment of war, rangers spear and Beorn: I'm really afraid of putting cards with a +3 cost in a deck with no resource acceleration. Maybe one Beorn and one Rainment in the place of the Round shields? Even then, I would be afraid of not having enough resources to play those cards.
I managed to complete Quest 1, 4, 5 on Hard with each getting 250+ VP .
But I think the way you suggested is more viable. Most of the time the 3+ costing card were dead weight and I could only play them after getting board control, at which point they don´t really helped out that much :(
