In Celebration of Violence

Song
Has anyone killed Song as of yet? I saw on the global acheivements only 0.5% of players had it, which at first seemed abnormaly low, but it is at the same rate as people who have unlocked every class. As I have unlocked them all I know that means it should also be able to kill song right? I figured I'd be able to right after completing surgery, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated, even more so if someone who has killed her already would like to drop a few hints, until then I will just be grinding for the rest of the achievements I know of.

In the other thread people were guessing it was either the surgery achievement or the sacrificial circles in the starting area that unlocked the song boss fight. But since surgery is a steam-only achievement and the sacrificial circles had no immediately noticeable effect the circles are probably the better guess.

Also (surgery spoilers) the tumors make a heart shape: https://imgur.com/a/89Lx3

I didn't kill her yet. I'm curious too.

I think I read somewhere about pacifist runs having something to do with her, no idea myself though.

I will try a pacifist run tonight and see what results that yields.

I'm just going to throw out there that I've only ever been able to access the Song fight once, and it was quite a bit ago. Certainly before I cleared the tumors, and probably before I charged the circles.

After a lot of work I have just completed a pacifist run, is there no achievement for it? I even got "None will follow your name". Also nothing has changed with Song's altar. I am incredibly lost on how to access the fight.

Where is the song fight? Is it in place of one of the bosses, or at the sanctuary like thousandfold?

I assumed it would open up a portal in the church in the spawn, but then again I have no idea what direction to attempt accessing this fight.

That should be an achievement. I'll add it when I get the chance.

Another thing I have tried is getting Song's favor as low as possible. I spec'd 120 into health on the cultist and prayed to thousandfold and then to veil as to the point where they both wanted to take 700 health off of me for the next offering and then smashed Song's shrine in the nexus, filling about 10 black candles, but to no avail it seems.

Has anyone tried to get song's favor as high as possible?

I lit 10 of Song's candles in favor and nothing happened by the end of the run.

Damn, I wish I were that clever.

Does anyone have all the lore pages on Song? I believe I only have 3 of them.

I have 5:
1) WE ARE AN ODE TO LIFE.
2) CHAOS BROUGHT TO ORDER BY FLESH AND BONE.
3) OUR FERTILE GODDESS CHERISHES THE LIVING ABOVE ALL ELSE.
4) THE DEAD THINGS WILL CRUMBLE AND BE FORGOTTEN BENEATH THE MAJESTY OF A BEATING HEART.
5) WE WILL CREATE NEW LIFE, EVERLASTING LIFE.

I'll take a few more shots at this, I'm at least reasonably confident absurd violence doesn't solve this one.
