Is it worth paying for?

Hey so I'm 29 and the last time I played a horse video game was back when they came on CDs (early/mid 2000s). I'm hesitant to spend money on a game. Is this the one to invest in? Does any have suggestions?

(P.S. When is a good time during the week to find someone for a Rank Match?)

If devs see this - if they had a lifetime membership option to purchase (one-time only with all the benefits), I would definitely commit! But can't speak to the membership as I don't have it.
