Crash When Generating A Picture Of Tracks
Sorry for the many posts but I just keep encountering some really random problems with Crashday. Now I receive that error when I go to save the track and enable the editor to generate a track picture. Why all of these weird errors? Makes it pretty frustrating. What is it that's causing this now? Resolution too much?

Error in Props-Engine
The maximum of allowed textures is reached!

MAX_CBM_TEXTURES = 1024

I have to disable all? or just take out some mods?

Does your track use some tile mods? in that case don't disable all of them, but just a few. Probably there are so a lot of mods enabled and the amount of loaded textures is near to that limit

Huh, I have one tile mod pack. But it's the best one around on the workshop which is the Crashday Universal Tile Set. I will admit that there are a lot of tiles on it but that's a good thing. I guess there is no work around. I disabled a couple of mods but that did not do anything leaving the only thing to do which is uninstalling the tile mod then again not going to do that since my tracks depend on it. Pretty weird problem with the game's engine. There's no way to fix that problem vie some patch you guys can develop? Otherwise it's whatever at this point.

You can always save the track without any preview image, you can add it later through the tool, it will look like much better than the generated one anyway

all is true. The image of the map should be made through third-party programs. for example fraps or bandicam.
I recommend to pinned this subject

Oh, so there's a folder where the track picture goes?

Download the Crashday Redline SDK which contains all the required modding tools. Every single tool will be downloaded in:
Steam/SteamApps/Common/Crashday/tools

The tool you need in this case is "cdtrkpic"; open the htm file for the readme.
As far as I remember you have to provide a 32bit *.png image with a size of 1024x1024

Hope that helps

Just drag the photo into the file or exe? Instruction are very vague. I launch it but the console disappears in a flash.

You have to open the command prompt from the cdtrkpic window folder (File->Open power shell). From there use the application by passing the required parameters
