Invalid savegame

Sometimes when the game brutally interrupts for a black out or any other reason, the savegame may get corrupted. In most of the cases Crashday should be able to repair the savegame by itself, however there could cases where the game can not repair it, specially if the savegame contains some mod informations. In that case just run the launcher and while the launcher is opened, delete the savegame which can be found in <Username>/AppData/Local/Crashday/<SteamID64>.save

The game randomly closing/minimizing

Usually this issue is caused by one or more programs running in background, making the game close by itself.
Make sure there are no active applications in background and try to disable the antivirus if you got any. Check your startup applications first (Start Menu -> Search bar type msconfig). Switch off unneeded applications. A lot of users have these issues when trying to run the game while TeamViewer or Adobe Creative services are opened so we recommend that you close these applications before running Crashday Redline Edition.

Steam randomly closing

Same as the game closing itself issue, if the solutions previously mentioned do not work try to go in the Steam folder and delete the ClientRegistry.blob or better yet delete everything despite the executables and the SteamApps folder. Steam will automatically download the deleted files.

A low level input output issue was occured.

Change the Crashday installation folder to something that doesn't contain unicode characters. Example:
C:\nocoś\steamapps\common\Crashday -> WRONG
C:\games\steamapps\common\Crashday -> CORRECT

Path <path> is corrupted / Could not add <path> to file system!

Some CPK files are corrupted, may happen when Steam fails to download correctly the game files. All you need to do is:
1. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
2. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files... button.

The process will take a minute or two, Steam will verify the game files and will automatically fix the correcupted ones.

The game does not recognize the gamepad

The game now loads a custom gamepad database located in:
C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\Crashday\config\gamecontrollerdb.txt.

If the game doesn't recognize your gamepad you can configure it by using this tool:

Voice chat doesn't work after going to desktop

Make sure there are no active applications in background that uses the microphone such as discord, skype or teamspeak.

I have some strange issue with stunts. After like 1.6 million points the next jump doesn't trigger the combo line for some reason. Tried on incubator but ik other people don't have this problem. Can you help?

For some reason the error "Could not add data/dat007b.cpk to file system!" keeps occuring.
I've already reinstalled the game twice, tried to install it on a different hard drive and tried to verify data integrity (without getting any errors there).
Is there anything else I can do?

Hello guys, sorry to hear about the issues you are having. The .cpk file in question is the Russian language file. It seems some Steam update is causing some issues with language files.

Luckily, there is an easy fix:
- Right-click Crashday in your Steam game list
- Go to Properties
- Go to Language
- Change it to English
- Close the window
- Open the same window again
- Change it back to Russian (or whichever language you wish to use)

You can change the music style to Rock in the Audio Options
