• Added outlines to artifacts in Quest bubbles and post-dig so they don't blend in

• Added Screen Shake toggle

• Diminishing Returns money animation doesn't block Dig/Museum buttons anymore

• Tech Tree now focuses on the first node of the act if no nodes were visible on enter

• Fixed bug where some players lost their save data

  • This was caused because the game could be launched directly (instead of through Steam). When players who did this then relaunched through Steam, it created a new save.

  • If this occurred to you, the game will automatically take whichever save had more playtime when you first relaunch the game. We've provided instructions to restore a different save in case you want the other one: \[TODO: LINK]

• Fixed visual glitch where corners were covered in 32:9 gigawidescreen

• Fixed bug where you could click through the feedback screen

Hello fellow voters!

We're thrilled to announce that over 10,000 of you have bought and played our game in the first 48 hours! We couldn't be more thrilled with the response and how much y'all have enjoyed the BIG DIG!

We're especially grateful to those of you who have left a review, told your friends, joined the Discord[discord.gg], and reported bugs! We've received over 500 user reports and we've addressed as many as we can! Please keep 'em coming. We're listening to everything and want to ensure Big Dig is as good as it can be for new and returning players!

There's 2 major changes that won't be addressed in this patch but will in a future update. We'll be adding the ability to view both endings in-game, and we'll be rebalancing a bit of the Act 3 tech tree to make the ending land a bit better. Currently even maxed out you can't quite fully dig out the Capital as easily as you should.

We truly appreciate all the feedback, both positive and negative! It helps us understand what we can improve both for Big Dig and for future games. Thanks for digging!

• Slightly tweaked some visuals in both endings

• Slightly reduced volume of clapping

• Your camera's position is now saved in the museum so you don't have to scroll out every time

• Controllers only vibrate if you're actively using the controller

• When clicking pause, cutscenes will not advance

• When unlocking rooms, the visual drains slower to make it more accessible

• Swapped position of Map/Museum buttons in the Tech Tree

  • Now the Map button is consistently in the same spot. This may be confusing for previous players but I think new players will appreciate it!

• Tech Tree will no longer appear blank in certain saves

  • The camera will adjust on load if no nodes were visible

  • The camera is restricted to the first section during Act 1 and so on

• Added colors to message text in Feedback Form to make it clear when feedback is sending/sent/errored

• All Discord links update after you beat the game to reward you with an "I Voted" role on Discord

  • Fixed bug where the role was only given to new members

• Fixed critical bug where Artifact Set Pieces wouldn't spawn in Act 3 Lake if you didn't get the Dino Leg in Act 2

• Fixed achievements

• Fixed bug where Guest Quests wouldn't appear after Act 1/2 endings

• Fixed resolutions wider than 21:9 not letting you move the mouse to the far edges

• Fixed Map Cutscene on widescreen monitors

• Fixed News segments on non-16:9 aspect ratios

• Fixed Ending Credits visuals on 16:10 (Steam Deck)

• Fixed Discord links so they give you the proper "I Voted" roles
