N15
There is drafting.
In cockpit view is superior.
Hood view is better.
Sound is far superior.
Replay system is far superior.
You can look to the rear.
You can actually configure the game - more settings
Sonoma and Watkins the AI can actually drive
Paint booth
Optimized graphics - smooth running
NHE
AI doesn't cheat as much
AI seems to try and avoid you - although it will drive through just like N15 on some points of the track.
Less cartoony look (could look far superior, but AA, LOD and visual effects are terrible and game is not optimized for pc).
Imo they are frustrating in their own way, but in general the ai, physics and damage models in NHE are more forgiving.
Without updates I say keep on playing N15 until NHE is on sale, at least 50% off. at USD 60,- and unoptimized it is for true fans only.
The AI will give you a great fight in career mode but it takes a few races and many laps for the adaptive AI to get really good.
As Simulacra said the graphics need to be optimized, especially the AA and LOD which make it look pretty bad @ 1080p resolution but AA is much less noticeable @ 1440p.
If you liked the original NASCAR Heat then you will like this game. It racing feels a lot like the original but with improvements. Watkins Glen and Sonoma feel almost identical to the original and not realistic at all IMO.
For me it was worth the price but with all the needed improvements it might not be to you.
