I really question the AI when it seems that it knows your goal and allows you to almost reach your goal mut not pass it. Ive had driver come from far behind, zoom right past me and cut me off by hitting my front bumper just before getting to my goal. Where did that car get such sudden speed to do that? Especially when that car was involved in a wreck prior.
I get the impression that those purchases mean nothing and it's only a timing thing, which makes sence if you can't actually buy new tires or change engines with those upgrades.
Seems that this game is less a sim and more game. I am no fan of cheating and certainly would never promote it but it seems something was just revieled about this game by doing it. I would prefer a truely honest game and if this game was, the car should have had nop problems going from 40th to 1st a lot better then before, not just a little better, dueto that random, unexpected burst, cating the driver off guard.
