The game had great potential. The art was good, the writing fine, and the music and atmosphere were there too. It was all there. Not a masterpiece by any stretch, but a solid point-and-click experience.

However... In the end, the game is too short and is brought to an end so poorly and abruptly that I just found it plain weird and unfinished.

Silver Crow... hmmm well I really enjoyed this brief as it was.
Only a few things would bring from a really good P&C game to a must play P&C adventure/detective game. For one its overall length. I beat in one sitting of 2ish hours and I did waste a little time walking around and looking at stuff. I think the puzzles were all a bit too simple, at least for someone that plays a great many P&C games...but at least there was no moon logic. HUZAAAH!!! Thank ye gods and I never got stuck in any meaningful way everything was genuinely figure-out able. I just wanted the puzzle to have more levels and steps to them is what I mean. The solutions were all very basic. I love the set up and story here, of the remorseful executioner whos duality is that he is also a healer and herbalist... I think this main character is great and maybe voice acting would been helpful but given the length I imagine it wasnt in the cards budget wise.

The graphics are low pixel perfection love this style especially spots where there is implied shallow depth of field I also love the fact you can fast cut to where you are going or just use the map with flags to get where you need,,, by clicking and arent forced to wait for walking animation etc... the atmosphere is great, not sure why this town has like 10 people in it but otherwise its very Witcher-esque.

I give this game game 8 goose feathers out of 10.. It would be 9 if was just a few hours longer. BUY IT its cheap anyway and better than most shows on TV.

***light Spoiler-ish****

Afterthoughts on the plot...

I think maybe I am missing the obvious or its intentional and thus ironic... but the woman he sees in a vision was innocent as she says in the first scene... then why is another character seeing her at the end...and she looks the same... it would mean its not just his conscience or in his head right> THUS it would mean she was she was exactly what they claimed she was since it is not just the protagonist that can see her so it must be witchcraft right??

Fantastic game! Everything's so well done!

- Charming graphics
- Really great animations
- Exceptionally great music
- Perfect interface including:
1. Disabling the auto-advancing text
2. Named hotspots
3. Top bar inventory
4. Smooth and fast functioning
- Great writing and very interesting setting.

There is nothing to complain. The game doesn't offer voice acting, but I didn't find it a drawback, because you have all the time you want to read the dialogue.
