Legacy of Defense has officially launched after 11 months in Early Access.

Since this is our full release, an enormous amount of fixing and polishing has gone into the game, and a major content update is launching alongside it.

Because this is the release so many of you have been waiting for, we'd like to walk you through everything that's changed in detail.

Legacy of Defense is now available on Android as well.

Wherever you are, defend the world from the palm of your hand. Controls and UI have been reworked for touch devices, and the Android version contains the exact same content as the PC version.

Three new heroes join the roster. Each one plays completely differently and comes with its own mastery tree, opening up builds that simply weren't possible before.

A control-focused mage who freezes enemies in place and then tears them apart.

• Defeating a frozen enemy causes ice to explode at its position

• Basic-attacking a frozen enemy calls down an icicle strike

• Masteries unlock the 3rd and 4th skills and raise each skill's starting level

Instead of fighting directly, the Tamer commands an army of summons. If you've ever wanted to push a summon build to its limit, this is it.

• All summons gain 15% reduced attack cooldown

• All summon damage increases by 10% per stage (up to 70%)

• Combine with the new Totem skill to push summon damage even higher

A tank who stacks shields, endures, and converts that shield directly into power.

• Block can stack up to 8 times

• Every 1,000 shield generated grants +1 Block stack

• Retains 10% of your shield even after a round ends

When you start a new game, instead of jumping straight into combat, you'll first witness the incident that took place in the field.

You'll see exactly why you're fighting here, and what was taken from you. It's short, but it gives meaning to everything that follows.

At Abyss 20, defeating the last enemy of the dungeon is not the end.

After a brief silence, the Source of Evil — the one behind everything — finally reveals itself. It fights with patterns unlike any boss you've faced so far.

Clearing Abyss 20 triggers the true ending sequence.

Your long, long defense finally reaches its conclusion. …Whether that's truly the end, though, is something you'll have to see for yourself.

The Abyss, previously capped at level 15, is now open all the way to level 20 (MAX).

This is the real final descent, made for everyone who conquered 15 and had nowhere left to go.

Level 20 isn't just another stat increase — it's a special stage that leads into a brand-new final battle and the ending. Find out what's waiting for you at the bottom of the Abyss.

This is the centerpiece of the update.

Raise specific skills to the required levels and a superior Combo Skill — the fusion of both — will appear as a card. Rather than simply picking whatever looks good, you can now plan which combo you're going to build toward.

So you never miss a combo simply because you didn't know it existed, we've added a Combo Codex.

Check the required materials and levels at a glance, and decide which combo you're chasing before the run begins. Filling out the entire codex also earns you a dedicated achievement.

• Gravity Field — Launches a gravity field that pulls in enemies across the entire map while damaging them. It's the core of any build that wants everything gathered in one place for AoE (24s cooldown)

• Black Armor — Your max HP drops, but at level 5 you gain 25% damage reduction and deal 300 poison damage to all enemies every 3 seconds. If you're willing to take the risk, it's one of the strongest picks in the game

• Egg — Summons an egg that fires 10 shots every 8 seconds. The egg grows larger as you level it, and hatches at level 5

• Slime Man — Summons a Slime Man that unleashes a barrage on enemies. A reward for players who raised all three slimes

• Totem — Increases the damage of all summons. Paired with the Tamer or any summon build, the effect is enormous

• Full mastery re-layout and price rebalance — Nodes have been rearranged so progression flows naturally, and point costs were retuned to match the current balance

• Reroll masteries separated, with a higher cap — Reroll-related masteries are now their own branch with a raised maximum, so builds that hunt for specific skills are far more consistent

• Dedicated masteries for the 3 new DLC characters — Ice Wizard, Tamer and Shieldman each have their own mastery tree

• Character unlock conditions now visible — You can now check each character's unlock requirements directly in the character window. No more guessing what you need to do to unlock a new hero

• Improved farm navigation — Moving to and from the farm is faster and more intuitive

• Improved mastery screen navigation — Entering and leaving the mastery window has been streamlined. You can jump straight where you want without passing through several screens

• Hover tooltips on the in-game skill bar — Hover over any skill icon in the top bar during combat and its description appears immediately. No more opening a window just to check what you're carrying and at what level

• Red dot for purchasable masteries — If you have enough points to buy a mastery right now, an indicator appears on the icon

• Red dot for purchasable upgrades — Upgrades work the same way, so you'll never miss something you could already afford

We're improving the ranking system, and rankings will be reset once to coincide with the full release.

Because balance has changed significantly, old records and new records can no longer be compared on equal footing — so we decided to let everyone start again from the same line. The exact reset timing will be announced separately.

• Increased gold earned from all bosses

• Increased mastery points earned from all bosses

Boss kills now feel properly rewarding, and mastery unlocking is noticeably faster overall.

• Stage 4 enemy ATK reduced

• Stage 5 enemy ATK reduced

This smooths out the sharp difficulty spike players were hitting in the mid-game.

• Tentacle Bundle — damage increased

• Avalanche — damage increased

• Spiked Wall — HP and ATK increased

• Guillotine — damage and stack gain increased

Combos now pay off in line with the investment required to complete them.

• Archery — Stack damage reduced. In exchange, it now serves as a material for the Spear Throw combo, giving you a reason to max it out

• Abyss 7: Enemy HP bonus 40% → 30%

• Abyss 16: Enemy ATK bonus 30% → 25%

• Abyss 17: Enemy HP bonus 50% → 40%

• Abyss 10: All bosses HP +40% / ATK +10% → HP +20% / ATK +7%

• Abyss 15: All bosses HP +50% / ATK +15% → HP +40% / ATK +10%

Boss HP was inflating to the point where fights dragged on at high Abyss levels. Together with the new 16–20 range, the entire difficulty curve has been retuned.

• To the Abyss 16 – 20 — Clear each Abyss level

• Hatching — Reach Egg level 5

• Pitch Black — Reach Black Armor level 5

• Punish — Learn the Punish skill

• Collector — Fill the entire Skill Codex

It's been 11 months.

When we first opened the doors with Early Access, we never imagined this many people would join us on the way here.

Every review you left, every bug report and suggestion posted in the community and on Discord, every "I wish this skill worked like this" — we read all of it.

Almost every improvement in this release build started from something one of you pointed out.

Combo skills, the Abyss expansion, the quality-of-life work — all of it came from erasing, one by one, the moments that felt frustrating while playing.

Thank you, sincerely, for waiting so long for a game that was still rough, and for sticking with it to the end.
