Does anyone know how to become a vampire?

I was told how to do it a while ago but now that I actually have some vampire blood I can't remember what to do

Oh and if you could tell me what benifits/penalties there are for becoming a vampire that would be great also.

I think that I read some hint in game about corrupting a life potion...

Yes drink a corrupted life potion to vecome a vampire
You can make that potion by mixing a life potion with vampiric ashes.
You can get the ashes from destroying the body of the vampire lord with a scroll of last rites
You need to find the body after defeating the vampire lord, but before he rises again

What becoming a vampire does I am not spoiling yet...

Lol awesome :) And yeah the guy I killed was just a regular Vampire, so if vampire blood has nothing to do with becoming a vampire what is it used for?

I have been wondering, why do vampires shed "vampire blood". Why is there a distinction if it doesn't do anything special anyway? I'm guessing it DOES do something special but I can't seem to figure out what. Or do you have something planned for the future?

Once upon ink was required to copy scrolls. I think it was an ink. SO it is something of a relic. I might do something with it in the future... But I also kinda like the idea that people are running around drinking the stuff just because it might do something. Maybe I should borrow a couple of mechanics from Darkest Dungeon to deal with these wanna be vampires...

So I killed another Vampire Lord and searched for his body but could never find it so I couldn't use the Last Rites scroll on it. What am I missing?

Lulz I just found him hang on...

Ok so I killed him again and used the scroll on him which gave me an achievement but I don't see any ashes anywhere. Also in the tomb where a vampire(not sure if it was the Vampire Lord) once was there was now a random orc tooth lol.

I think the ord tooth is supposed to be the ashes. Something goes wrong...
