Why is the secret ending considered the fake ending?

It's written on the bottom left corner of the credits screen. It's just in a dark colour that blends in with the background and is hard to see, but it's there for both endings, the real and the fake ending.

You can see the words "fake ending" on the end screen after you finish. It faded out like Scott does with his teasers, having to lighten them to see the words.

The ending where you get scooped says REAL ENDING in the lower-left corner. The ending with Ennard says FAKE ENDING in the lower-left corner. I have these gamma-adjusted in several videos.

There's a real ending, with the words "real ending" literally written on the bottom left corner of the screen, which is the one where they scoop you and wear your skin. A fake ending which is when you get into the private room and manage to fend off Ennard until the morning and you go home.

I looked at the game files and there's nothing else there for a different ending, so unless it's coded in a way that doesn't show on the game files, I don't think we have another ending waiting for us u_u easter eggs? perhaps, but more endings are unlikely.

This does strike me as super weird though because usually the ending that takes more work to get to is the more relevant one. If this ending is fake and doesn't matter then why go through all of that?

It's the one that gives the most relevant info about the lore, given that we get to see footage from FNAF 4, implying there were surveillance cameras in the house all along...
