Also bones wouldn't be so easy to pull out with out causing death, many would break if not carfully removed. I'm not sure the scooper is made for that kind of delicate work.
I think the "It wont kill you", "It will only hurt for a moment" is said because of their experiance with the scooper. It doesn't kill them. They can "live" with out their skin.

1) Why is William Afton of Afton Robotics is treated like a new employee?
2)Why is William Afton doing "endless janitorial opportunities" if he owns the company?

8)William Afton should be rolling in money after selling state of the art technologically advanced animatronic attractions for rent, yet the PC lives in a crummy house, with out-dated furniture, and a TV with turn dials and antennae with not even a VCR in sight
9)If you are William Afton why can't you abort Handy's shut down procedure on night 2 so you can get to safety?
10)We know from the SE novel that the Purple Man is most comfortable and safe around the animatronics in his Spring Bonnie suit but this character we play as doesn't have access to one and doesn't wear one down into the workspace with the killer animatronics
11) Baby doesn't recognize him, something with advanced facial recognition software would certainly have his face and if not his face then his voice in her memory banks, also William Afton owns Afton robotics why would he need to disguise himself, and we know from the books the only disguise he ever used was the Spring Bonnie Suit.
12)Baby helps the man who has imprisoned her, electrocuted her, forced her to "do bad things" kill/kidnap children and repeatedly ripped out her guts and replaced them with new innards when she didn't behave? I don't think so.
13) William Afton would already know how the animatronics work and that they are dangerous and would not need to be told by Handy all their information, which begs the question as to why if you play as Afton you bothered to bring Handy with you at all?
14) The little girl never says her fathers name, her fathers name is never revealed, and according to the SE novel, William Afton had no children and no love interest or even a former wife - therfore no proof the child is his daughter
15) Child says, "didn't you make her just for me?" we know from the novel that Henry created the animatronics where William Afton only assisted him and ran the business, making it more likely that the little girl is Henry's daughter and NOT Afton's
16) William Afton, the Purple Man, makes a habit of kidnapping and murdering children and you want to sell me some idea that he would actually want to care for and protect a child? No thanks, that doesn't make any sense.
17) The Scooping Room - William Afton would have known what the Scooper does, he would have known what the Spring Lock suits do, since he's operated one and he owns the company. And even if he somehow didn't know what the Scooper did, after this first exposure to it he certainly would after seeing Ballora's guts ripped out and stayed the hell away from that Room.
18) William Afton does not care about the animatronics (he stores them underground, electrocutes them if they get out of line, and if they stop working how he wants them to he has their guts ripped out and replaced) why would he help Baby at the end of the game to "save the good" in her, help her escape when he wants to keep her there and performing, have any sort of sympathy for her?? He wouldn't.
19) William Afton owns Afton Robotics but doesn't have a key card to the Private Room, and will be fired after witnessing sensitive and private information? That is ridiculous.
20) The purple eyes of Ennard at the end of the Real Ending do not mean the PC is William Afton- he's the Purple Man because he wears Purple.
21) If you played as William Afton and Ennard used your body like a suit she would have no reason to return to Freddy's in the FNAF 3 mini games as the Purple Man to destroy the animatronics, you don't escape from a place and then run back to it.
1) Fact: Companies often change their name if the ownership changes or they receive a bad reputation. I will include articles as resources to this fact. 2) Fact: The person speaking to Afton in the opening of the game is a board member. We know this from the voice acting leaks prior to the game’s release, you will also note that none of the voice actors claimed to play anyone from law enforcement. https://www.voices.com/people/animdude#feedbacks which means he’s not being questioned by the police at this point and there is no evidence that he is on the run or has gone into hiding.
3) Fact: We know from the little girl’s dialogue when she says, “…didn’t you make her just for me?” that her father created the animatronics she speaks of, and it is a fact from the Silver Eyes novel that the creator of the animatronics was Henry. William Afton even gave all of the credit to Henry in the scene from the novel when he spoke to Carlton, “…that one is one of the first suits that Henry ever made...” and “…did you not know that Henry made this place?” William Afton was Henry’s assistant and, terribly obsessed with his genius for creating the animatronics, he did help Henry, but he was not the maker.
4) Fact: William Afton was never said to have any children in the Silver Eyes novel nor was there ever any mention that he had been married or had a love interest at any point. It is a fact however that Henry had a daughter – Charlie.
5) Fact: William Afton was a flesh and blood human being when he committed the murders of the children in the Silver Eyes novel, not an animatronic wearing a person-suit, which brings me to my next facts.
6) Fact: Dead bodies do not make scars. In the Silver Eyes novel, in that same scene where William speaks to Carlton, he shows him the scars from his initial accident with the Spring Lock suit – a human corpse cannot heal itself. The wounds from the Scooper would never close and would remain open.
7) Fact: Dead bodies do not bleed. There would be no red fluid coming out of the Spring Bonnie suit after the Purple Man jumps inside at the end of FNAF3. I will grant you that hydraulic fluid can be red, but it can also be amber, green, purple, or (in this example of common hydraulic fluid used for robotics) brown https://www.grainger.com/product/MOBIL-DTE-26-4ZF35 and over time the color darkens as it’s used in the robot’s system. Since we do not know for a fact what type of hydraulic fluid the animatronics use – to speculate would be mere conjecture.
8) Fact: Dead bodies decompose. 9) Fact: When William Afton left town in the Silver Eyes novel he changed his name to Dave Miller. There is no mention of this name in the game, anywhere. Even the name tacked onto the Hand Unit reads “Mike”.
10) Fact: When Afton was faced with animatronics that were to become murderous he immediately sought out and wore his Spring Lock Bonnie suit – it’s his safety net, it protects him from the animatronics. The PC in the Sister Location does not bring a spring lock suit with them to work as a precautionary measure and instead gets stuffed into a spare one and has to be told how spring locks work – Afton would already know how to work them.
11) Fact: Baby/Ennard does not recognize you and says that you are “new”. This is a fact and point I will not let go of. Yes it is easy to fool the old & toy models of animatronics by wearing a Freddy head, but Baby is not an old or toy model, and the PC does not wear an empty Freddy head when he meets her for the first time or at all during the course of the game. It is also a fact that William Afton did nothing to disguise himself in the Silver Eyes novel other than age and lose some weight and Carlton’s father, the police chief, was able to identify him by sight as William Afton after taking a good look. If Baby/Ennard is able to still remember the little girl that she/it killed then it is logical to surmise that it would remember William too.
12) Fact: The true name of the character you play as is never revealed and neither is the true name of the girl’s father or even the girl’s name for that matter. It is this fact that makes me squirm the most, if only Scott had dropped some dimes on us…this debate would not be what it is. Now, this fact does not prove my belief one way or the other, if anything it states that even if I think I’m right, the truth is, none of us know for certain and without more definitive data…we may never know.
But I'm of the firm mindset that we do not play as the Purple Man.
Makes you think things you don't normally think about, in my case it was how fast to corpses rot and when do companies change their name lmao!
