Circus Baby - Friend or foe?

So by now I'm pretty sure that almost everyone in this cursed fandom has either played or seen Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location for themselves. I had decided to hold back discussion about this game for a while just to make sure I wasn't spoiling it for anyone, but now I can finally begin to ask questions:

Is Circus Baby the antagonist, or a foil?
I personally think that Circus Baby is a "Foil" character, A foil is any character (usually the antagonist or an important supporting character) whose personal qualities contrast with another character (usually the protagonist). By providing this contrast, we get to know more about the other character. As anyone who has played FNaF:SL will know, Circus Baby does fit this role rather well. She is not the antagonist of the game, but more like a misguided protagonist.

Circus Baby is a self-aware animatronic who was built to kill even beyond her will, she doesn't even realise why or how she kills them. It's quite obvious that her "ice-cream" dispenser was built with evil intentions, however Circus Baby doesn't share those thoughts. She just wanted to escape the facility, probably because of the way the other animatronics and herself were treated and were even (possibly) experimented upon. She wanted to hide from everyone, to stop hurting children, and to escape her body.

But this is just a trash theory that I'll add to later, meh.
