Subtitles?
Lacking subtitles in a game where directions are given to you ...via dialogue.
dammit Scott = _=
This breaks the game for me, can't buy it till it's got subtitles.

Why subtitles? I'm bad at hearing things and can clearly understand it. Subtitles won't work with SL.

bad at hearing is quite different than not being able to hear at all~

just roll that over in your head for a bit, it'll make sense

Yea because I could sense beforehand that you are deaf. I already said that in the other thread, but SL and also FNaF 4 is highly sound based and not made for deaf ppl, I'm sorry. Subtitles won't get you through the areas where you have to rely on your hearing to get through and it would make things too easy for the rest.

Of course they will. It's just obviously not a big enough of a problem for anybody to feel like anything to be done about it. I've already posted in a few threads pertaining to subtitles. I'm deaf myself and with hearing aids I can hear sounds and such, but listening to speech without subtitles is sometimes like trying to listen to a foreign language.

Subtitles for speech is needed. Subtitles for the animatronics making noises isn't. (That would be too easy.) I can't enjoy the story first-hand or follow most of the instructions due to there being no subtitles, and unfortunately it's why I've refunded the game. I definitely want to play it but there's no point on me wasting my money on it if I can't enjoy it, let alone even play it.

thank you! this is my point entriely! they don;t need to be CC which would be all the noises, stage directions, etc. but i mean for crissakes, there;s large portions of this driven entirley by voice directions. I had to watch a few youtubers play just to get to the 15 min mark. This isnt any way to play lol.

As for the main instructions, okay.

I've watched the game on Youtube, and I know the bit that all deaf/hard of hearing players would truly suffer with would be Baby's keypad. I believe the numbers are randomised. I might pick up the ocassional number, but there's no way in hell I'm going to get the entire sequence.

I'm an adminstrator of the FNaF Facebook page and I have messaged Scott about this a few weeks before the game's release, unfortunately he wasn't able to reply. I know he's a very busy guy, and he's created an awesome game, but I'm sure subtitles won't be hard to implement. I'm kindly requesting that if he is reading this, to perhaps at least see if it is possible to do. I'm sure all the dialogue is written up, it just needs to be overlayed and matched up. If it isn't possible (for whatever reason), then I appreciate you trying.

He does, I believe it's private but our page is whitelisted so we contact him frequently if we need to and he's often great at replying, but it's just a very busy time right now so that's why I tried messaging him a few weeks prior but to no avail.
