At the top left on steam click on games, then activate a product on steam, click next then you can either copy paste the code in or type it in and it should work I'd hope.

I didnt redeem this key but i just came to say how kind of you this is to do and give somebody who may not own the game a chance to simply redeem a code and get it! Nice one bro! <3

i got my friend to redeem the code who doesnt own it and it says redeeemed so you can close this
