Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location

Some thoughts on identities of Mike Schmidt, Jeremy Fitzgerald and Fritz Smith
MIKE SCHMIDT. The night guard from FNAF 1. In FNAF Sister Location the main character's name is Michael, he is William Afton's son. Also, if you listen closely to the Hand Unit during Night 1, he tells us to type in our name AS SEEN ABOVE - to just copy the name from the paper above, MIKE. Hand Unit "knows" who we are, because he promises that we'll be given Exotic Butters from the management and we receive it. It is not just robot talking into emptiness.
Since it's Purple Guy's son, it is the Foxy-masked brother from FNAF 4.
There are some interesting coincidences. In FNAF 1, the Pirate Cove sign says: SORRY, out of order. In FNAF 4, Michael says "I'm sorry".
The sign can sometimes turn into IT'S ME. In FNAF SL cutscene, Michael says "It's me, father". It is also the reference to him wearing Foxy's mask in the past.
And Golden Freddy may be a hallucination referring to Michael killing his brother in Fredbear, caused by his sense of guilt.
Schmidt may be a fake surname, he must be Afton, but I think his real surname won't be welcome in the pizzeria.

JEREMY FITZGERALD. We know little about this guy, but there's one funny thing. As we know, in FNAF 2 he wears Freddy Fazbear's head to fool animatronics. In FNAF 4, one of Mike Afton's friends is shown 2 times, so much attention for one character, very strange. I'm talking about the boy with brown hair in green T-shirt, the laughing one that criticises the crying child for being scared and wears Freddy mask. Yes, I think it's Jeremy Fitzgerald.

FRITZ SMITH. This is the most mysterious one. To get some hints, let's turn to Phone Guy's speech from Night 5, FNAF 2:
"Hello? Hey, good job, night five! Um, hey, um, keep a close eye on things tonight, okay? Um, from what I understand, the building is on lockdown, uh, no one is allowed in or out, y'know, especially concerning any...previous employees. Um, when we get it all sorted out, we may move you to the day shift, a position just became...available. Uh, we don't have a replacement for your shift yet, but we're working on it. Uh, we're going to try to contact the original restaurant owner. Uh, I think the name of the place was..."Fredbear's Family Diner" or something like that. It's been closed for years though, I doubt we'll be able to track anybody down. Well, just get through one more night! Uh, hang in there! Goodnight!"

I think Phone Guy mentions contacting Fredbear's Family Diner owner in the same context as other things he says before and after that - finding replacement for Jeremy.
So, whoever Fritz Smith is, he may be a former employee of Fredbear's Family Diner.

Foxy head kid originally has his brothers plush head ripped off and wears it up until the moment his brother is killed.
You actually beleive that xD
What does that have to do with the argument? In one instance, the eyes are glowing, in the other, they are not.
The foxy'S head is missing for a reason and Scott has said there are no random Easter eggs.

Ok, what is the purpose of pointing that out?

Mike Schmidt and Micheal Afton are not the same person, as confirmed by Scott on Reddit.
For people who are too lazy to dig through Scott's responses from that link, here is what Scott said about Michael Afton and Mike Schmidt, a word for word copy paste.

Hey guys, even though this sounds related. It's not. The names and ideas are coincidental. I used to fancy myself a writer and wrote a few short stories and sometimes listed them under different names, but none of them were very good. People tend to reuse names in their stories. So even though it may seem like it was intentional, it really wasn't.

Actually Scott was referring to the fact that long ago he used the fake name "Micheal Parsins" when publishing short stories. The guy was theorizing there was a connection to one of those stories and FNaF because of the fake name. Scott replied saying the use of the name was just a coincidence when brought into fnaf.

Says the guy that said a man with purple skin and glowing eyes looks like that because of shadows, when a normal colored human is right next to him in the same room. Lol

*head desk*

That moment when another person says that Michael Afton was the Crying Child's bully, older brother in the Foxy mask when we literally see Purple Man in the backroom helping an employee into a springlock suit.

With pleasure!

There will come a day when logic and reason rule the FNAF forums, it may never happen, but by God Imma try and spread the intelligence around!

There needs to be more people like you around here. This is how fnaf needs to be solved.

Thanks, you're a smart on yourself :) I think the really smart people are driven off by the insurmountable levels of dumb and poor grammar that plague the forums, but this place ain't so bad once you settle in.

The Reddit thread was about Scott's book "The Tearing", listed under psudonyme Micheal Parsins and its possible relation to Mike Schmidt and Michael in FNAF. Scott doesn't say anything concrete about Mike Schmidt and Michael. He just generally says that authors may reuse names without any meaning and it's normal.
