-The trauma for the loss of the wife made Afton a killer that kidnapped kids with the funtimes. A kind of revenge against the system\country\town that wasn't able to save his wife.
-The child (what you called Jim) discovered that, from that point he was afraid of the robots. To make sure that his son will never reveal those informations Afton built the Fredbear camera to controll the kid.
-The trauma made the big brother violent against the brother.
-The trauma inducted the sister to find a new maternal figure (Baby).
Many years later, Michael came back to find his father, and where did he go?
The Fazbear's Fright Horror Attraction.
The reason I came up with this theory was because it didn't make much sense to me that Micheal got scooped, springlekt, and burnt to a crisp all within 30 or so years. What also bothered me was the question; how could he survive all of this. I know it's FNaF, and paranormal mindclucking and stuff, but seriously. Even if you were possessed, your body would be in smitherines if you went through all that; it wouldn't be usable.
Oh, and also. You know how you play as Mike Schmidt in FNaF 1? Well Mike/Michael already rings some bells. Second, you get fired in the custom night for FNaF 1, correct? Tampering with the animatronics, and also: odor. Now, you'd think that after years of being a walking, rotting corpse, that you would have some sort of relentless body odor, right? Just wanted to point that out.
