Scott, is Sister Location a prequel or a sequel to FNaF 4?

to me it seems like its happening simultaneously.
the final cutscene is simply the future of what happens after fnaf 3.

if you think about it fnaf 1-4-SL are all happening simultaneously

we can assume that the broken mangle in the girls room, was a symbol for the daughter william lost, we dont see that symbology right away, which means it happened on that night.

however we DO see, that the night 1 phone call of fnaf 1 happens in a garbled tone on night 1 of fnaf 4.

why? because its coming from the private room, in the facility hidden under his house.

now micheal afton, promised william he would put his sister back together, I assume, that was the meaning of the quote at the end of fnaf 4.

he wasnt nessecarily talking about putting the crying child back together rather...reuiniting the family.

he lost his sister and his brother his father went to jail already, for one murder (outside the diner)
and then lost his own life to the springtrap suit.

now all thats left for him is "im coming for you too father"

hes trying to put back together his broken family.

they were all taken in one form or other by the animatronics william had built, hence the disassembling scenes in fnaf 3.

he wanted their memory cards, so ennard, is fair to say is a mix of micheal, and the sister, in fnaf 3 he probally found the crying child, now he just needs his father.

and when he does it will be

I think it is a prequel.

I think of it this way:

Michael Afton works at the Sister Location facility, and gets Ennard out.

Michael immediately starts work back at his old job at Fredbears, which is why we see him in the FNAF 4 clip.

While he's working at Fredbears he's harboring Ennard, and then one day on his way to work he coughs Ennard up.

Hence prequel and events that happen simultaneously to FNAF 4.

In my humble opinion.

Def simultaneous- Not just the fact purple guy has already "not died"
I feel the quote" we always find a way inside" is very telling. We know Baby snatched a little girl, and that was the only time she was in service. But it never stats in SL when we arrive. So the events are like a couple other said- SL coincides with FNaF 1-4. With the extra content's last cinema being the "teaser"for after FNaF 3.
Also:
Pigtail girl talking about "they hide your body" which is a Fazbear thing. FNaF 4 is not Fredbears-BTW among other clues given

also, we know scott teased sister location now ages ago, back when he was giving plot hints on his site "what is seen in the shadows, misunderstood in the mind of a child" he was talking about the creation of baby and why daddy wouldnt let her play with her. "shes so shiny daddy, you made her just for me, why wont you let me play with her?"

she didnt understand why she couldnt play with baby.

also we now know a fnaf 6 may happen, because micheal aka spring trap still has to find his father "mode unlocked:play as springtrap"

that would be a cool end a game where u play as william and then as an easter egg play as springtrap on the flipside of that same story

I think that can fit perfectly in both the cases ... Scott let the freedom to the fans to believe in what they think is the most probable ....
Personally SL happen after FNaF4.

Freddy's Pizzeria was closed but Fredbears Family Diner was still open as we can see from all the cut scenes in FNAF 4 since it takes place at Fredbears.

We also know that there must have been a Freddy's Pizzeria operating around the time of FNAF 4 because of the Fazzbear and Friends TV show that we see play on the TV screen in the Crying Child's house - it displays all the characters from Freddy's Pizzeria.

well... we don't know if that was a TV show for kids or some pubblicity about an hypotetical Freddy Fazbear Pizza....
I mean exist a lot of character in that franchise that were never used for animatronic's design ... think about the mask of Ennard, Paper Buddy, Golden Cupcake, the stange heads in the primary controle room ecc... So that isn't a proof that the robot version of Freddy,Bonnie ecc... existed already.

How is fredbears still open but not Freddy's I don't understand the logic behind that

fredbears diner is closed, the events of fnaf four are the pizzaria, dont you think that establishment was a little too large to be a diner, the whole thing literally takes up 2 screens.

golden freddy wasnt decommissioned til after it bit crying child.
circus babys party world was being run from under the aftons basement, also the phone calls were coming from the basement.

that basement served as nothing more than a breeding ground for killer robots in fnaf 4-2-1

baby ballora and the funtime gang were rentals sent out to kids birthdays, and the afton girl got a little too close, when she was told explicitly not to go anywhere near baby.

hate to say it but bonny freddy foxy and chica were always around, just not always seen.
