well we know in the book that Charlie kills william(just saying i know it micheal not william)but the animatronics arent destroyed so i think the "ghosts" are acttualy charlie and her friends and the whole destryion the animatronics part is non other then FAKE!

It's shown in Custom Night ending that Michael does in fact have some sort of immortal status, as said from Baby even though what the scooper what do to him she constantly says "You won't die." and in Custom Night ending Michael says "But something is wrong with me. I should be DEAD, but I'm NOT." And Michael survives a bite, getting stuffed into a springlock suit, getting his organs torn out, throwing up an endoskeleton, going through more springlock snaps, AND survives a fire. Yeah, I think it's pretty clear he is immortal.

Even if, why did purple guy kill him? To prove something?

Technically, he didn't become ennard. Ennard became him. Also, Ennard leaves him, leaving him as just a zombie-ish human. Also, I believe Purple guy and Michael are different people.

But, Afton's been confirmed to be Pink Guy because Purple Guy pukes Ennard while Afton is still out there somewhere. So do you think Purple Guy is the older brother and Michael has had a sprite that hasn't been shown yet?

Look at the FNaF 2 minigame with the crying child outside the restaurant. Look more closely at the sprite, its pink, not purple
