What does souls have to do with anything? So you think that the child would just think "well now I am a girl" or "I am staying as a boy". This wouldn't even matter because Scott never highlights the souls of the kids so that's just null and void.
Can I add my point of view?
Gender are something that don't affect the games.
They affect only the fanmade ... and in the fanmade I can do almost everything... I can do a fanart where Freddy is a woman with 87 kids and the father are the exotic butters, hentai, wars, harry potter , cats and all the other stuff that comes in my mind ... so who cares if is canon or not.
Instead if you want to do the things in a canon way, simply they are robots without genitals so no genders; if you want to use pronouns, use with genderless pronouns and you'll be 100% sure (with the robots I mean).
About the gender of the characters (the costumes) well ... if I make a cosplay of Wonderwoman ... makes me a woman? no! I'll remain a man.
So here the problem is only one: people (not everyone) can't accept or respect other point of view.
Male, Female and ... the case of the objects... absence of gender ... or genderless if you prefere.
Btw I don't funmentaly care if Lolbit is a boy, girl, gender fuild, genderless. though I have my preference though. Just want him say anything direct and concrete about.
I think he was hoping people would be mature enough not to be bothered by something that doesn't matter and not post pointless topics about them in forums. He was sadly wrong.
Funtime Foxy is a yes
so
Funtime Lolbit is a no
Funtime foxy is a no
Lolbit is a mabye
I hate how everyone argues over it when it's so simple :3
Anyway my opinion ;)
I think I did this whole forum, because I was angry about people it's just a robot thing which I wasn't refering to. But in the end I don't care, I usually don't what people think about gender in general. Well, I did because I love Lolbit's design and stuff and wanted it to be girl that got all defensive. I understand Scott maybe intending to be mature it, but there is a kids in this fandom, some are child at heart, some are defensive like me, and there has been so much conflict that seriously don't why he didn't ended this.
