Is this canon?

I think Scott said in one of his older posts that this custom night thing won't be canon but then we've got that Purple Guy/Ennard thing which seems to prove one of the major theories

Custom night is not Canon. The cut scenes on the other hand... Its unknown. But it seems pretty darn canon, it shows what happens to PG after Ennard takes control of him. So I think it is canon.

The custom night isnt canon but the minigames are or at least they are there to explain things in the canon timeline and answer questions though it most likely canon

Ennard is not purple guy okay and the fact that ennard's stolen skin rotted proves this. Because y'know Purple guy bleeds alot when he gets trapped in the springtrap suit. If that was ennard he wouldn't even be trapped in that suit.

mate go to my explanation for more detail but ennard is purple guy minigames prove it and i know i hated it as well until ennard leaves purples body and gives him life. Purple guy comes back to life and then years later gets trapped in spring trap

Although it's worth mentioning : "not a part of the game's Story Mode" is a bit damning.

he is talking about the gameplay of the custom nights, the minigames weren't expected and he couldnt say oh btw the minigames r canon cuz that would spoil them

I don't waaant it be canon! I had headcanoned a persona and the most adorable backstory for Eggs Benedict, and I had a fanfic all planned out where he was a good guy who made the ultimate sacrifice so the animatronics could escape. I even went as the guy for Halloween!

Don't get me wrong, it's a great origin story for the Purple Guy, but having Eggs turn out to be a killer was sorta a downer. :(

So yeah, I'm whining because the character I developed an inexplicable crush on ended up being a bad guy.

The 4-star cutscenes are probably canon, everything else isn't
