That's all I have to say.
One thing, though, if Willie was in jail at the time, how to explain the murder victims seen at the FNaF2 pizzeria?
Another thing, although William would likely have faced the death penalty for such heinous crimes, his sentence would probably not have been carried out anytime too soon. There's always the hope that an imprisoned, convicted killer will reveal the whereabouts of his victim's remains in exchange for better conditions in prison...or there's also the chance that he'll reveal them by talking to his fellow inmates, who then talk to the jail guards. It's happened!
I doubt that Scott would have that important detail to just say that someone innocent was framed.
the "was it me" teaser in fnaf 4 was micheal questioning if it was really him, and then later asking
"was it you" realizing that his father had actually started building killer robots after that, because his father had fled,
the person they caught, referred to william killing the first child, micheal as we know from fnaf 3 and the end of fnaf SL, has not been caught and is now on a mission to find william.
so now baby and spring trap are doing one of 2 things
A-micheal is searching for william, and baby is searching for micheal to stop him before he kills the last living member of their family
B-they are both trying to kill william
