this is what I originally thought back when I saw the springtrap cutscene in sister location he said he needed to find him which is Fazbear's fright and maybe in order to set them both free was to burn Fazbear's Fright I know it's not the best theory ever but I think it's possible

I know I'm late, and some of you already know, but in case some of you guys are still blinded to the canon story, let me clear things up. William is Springtrap and Scraptrap. This has been confirmed twice, one time on Scott's Reddit, and in the ending/credits of Five Nights at Freddy's 6. We don''t play as Michael in FNaF 3, because if that were the case, he wouldn't have said, "I'm going to come find you," because he would've already found him. So, we play as Henry in FNaF 3. Hope this clears things up, and if you don't believe me, ask Scott himself. ^_^

Edit: Don't say I'm bumping the thread. That wasn't my intention. My intention was to clear identical things up for some people, who, *sigh* still won't accept the canon identities.

A. 99.999 percent of people know William is Springtrap/Scraptrap

B.We very likely play as Micheal in fnaf3 do to the Fun with Plushtrap minigame and no Scott never confirmed that
