Golden Freddy is NOT Fredbear!

Think about it.

Scott SPECIFICALLY put Golden Freddy AND Fredbear in FNaF world as SEPERATE entities.

Golden Freddy has black attire, and Fredbear has purple attire.

Golden Freddy has a Withered form AND a FNaF 1 form. Why would you repair an animatronic that wouldn't be used again?

The simple answer is Golden Freddy is the ghost of one of the murdered children, taking on the form of Freddy, with a similar color scheme to Fredbear.

The change in Fredbear's color ISN'T a retcon, that's SUPPOSED to be that way so you can define them.

After all the people HYPING Golden Freddy as Fredbear, Scott thought it might be a good idea to make Fredbear gold as a bit of confusion. Scott even said he couldn't explain Golden Freddy in an interview, and that "some things just happen" during game development!

I'm going to continue this thread, umm...uhhh, I personally think that in my opinion, Golden Freddy is Fredbear, and I have evidence to support this theory. First, an obstacle to overcome. First of all, the reason why Fredbear and Golden Freddy have different coloured outfits is because the purple had been run down, the next time Golden Freddy/ Fredbear would appear in game again in all of Fnaf is 1987, 5 years after the spring-lock suits had been permanently decommissioned, not only that, but you can see how run down it was, 5 year of no interaction or movement could make it run down a bit. It also makes sense because the Evan Afton possesses Golden Freddy (according to Matpat), and he was killed by Fredbear. I have a personal theory too. Nightmare Fredbear is main antagonist of Fnaf 4 right? If so, that could mean the appearance of Fredbear represents the passing of the Evans soul into Fredbear/Golden Freddy, but while he is in his coma nightmare, his brain interpret Fredbear as a nightmare due to the shock he had with that specific animatronic. Thats my theory, if you have any problems, I will acknowledge it. Oh, and a mention for Matpat (again). He did connect psychic friend FREDBEAR (lonely FREDDY) as Golden Freddy's soul but that I don't think is a possible theory, because I think it was debunked.

my theory is from youtube (credits : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyNRq23Pc2o ) in this video this guy explains very well how the fnaf timeline goes, but at one point he mentions that he thinks golden Freddy is just Fred-bear. but re-used, since they would have to rename Fred-bear and change his appearance to avoid controversy around the bite of 83, (im praying i got the correct bite year) and later on he does explain who possesses it etc. Now, this is a theory from youtube that i believe is most canon, so take this theory with a grain of salt, (also take it with a extra grain cause my memory isnt all that great-)

I think people just don't want to refer to him as crying child or CC so they keep using the fan names as i read. Although it creates a slight confusion.
