Michael Afton =/= Springtrap
Every one is assuming that Michael Afton is Springtrap because of the custom night cutscene, without taking the time to properly think about the situation. There's no way that Michael Afton can be Springtrap, for one simple reason: Purple Guy bleeds. I don't care if this is a video game or not, someone who has had their internal organs scooped out and has a metal endoskeleton inside them doesn't bleed.

In all honesty, I believe that Michael is just a red Herring. I've pondered this for hours at a time, and there's no timeline that I can think of where Michael Afton is the killer. That being said, I still believe that he still has an important role in the story (although I have a hard time believing that he's big brother from FNAF 4). But that's just my opinion.

Good note there. But suddenly, this point of view people don't like so badly, so they don't care if corpse can't bleed. I didn't find any good explanation for this if Michael is Springtrap.

Well, Baby said to Mike "You won't die." Maybe he never actually properly died, but rather he just had a lot of parts removed from him? Purple skin doesn't automatically mean dead body. It can also mean lack of oxygen or poor blood circulation. Perhaps his blood started pumping again after Ennard left his body. Besides, just because he was hollowed out doesn't mean there's no blood left in the body. The lack of blood on Ennard when Mike vomits it up could just be a side-effect of Scott wanting to keep the games at a PG-13 level. I don't mean any offense with this.

None taken, that's actually a pretty good point. I just find it hard to believe that an endoskeleton of Ennard's size could fit all of that flesh on it without all of the organs being gone. I mean, these animatronics top 7 feet in some cases, not to mention that they're built to be quite girthy.

Well, Ennard (especially in the arms) looks to be rather scrawny. They probably studied the hanging bodies of the other technicians to get the proportions right. I do see a lot of parts, but I doubt they amalgamed their entire endoskeletons together. Just scooped one and it started taking bits and pieces of the others to complete itself. You do bring up a good point, as well, though.

I think that can be explained by how Ennard is just a mangle of wires when he's inside Micheal.

In the main game he's like an 8 ft tall Animatronic, but in the cutscene he's like just wires, if he was just a bunch of wires while inside Micheal then in theory he could position himself between the organs that where left.

Also 1 more indication that it's Micheal inside Springtrap is how his voice turns robotic just before Springtrap shows up on the screen, which at least to me is another strong indication that they are the same.

Also, some very good points. Perhaps it was only the ribcage that was totally removed from Mike when he got scooped. Ennard made a human-like body so it could operate the scooper, then it just took all the important parts out and condensed itself into Mike's torso. This could also explain why we don't see a ribcage in Springtrap, despite the fact that bones take the longest to decay.

Ummmm....Yes you do. It's confirmed that you do in the cutscenes after the custom night.

"Father...It's me, Michael...I did it... I found it... it was right where you said it would be. They were all there. They didn't...recognize me at first, but then...they thought I was you. And I found her. I...put her back together, just like you asked me to ("Her" being William Afton's daughter who gets killed by Baby). She's free now. But something is wrong with me. I should be dead, but I'm not. I've been living in shadows...there is only one thing for me to do now. I'm going to come find you...I'm going to come find you..."

And if that's not solid enough for you, than in Night 1, Baby says "I don't recoznize you...you are new." And later in the game, they start taunting you by saying things like "Isn't that why you came here? To be with here again?" Implying that they think that you're William Afton.

And if that's not solid enough for you, none of the other child's souls have a confirmed gender other than William's daughter, who is obviously female.

But you do play as Michael.
Scott said that when he adds the final cutscene we'll "see what becomes of Eggs Benedict."
I agree, but I've also just accepted that Scott did write Michael to be Springtrap. . . even though it causes a lot of plot holes, and a weird narrative.

It would be better if William was in Springtrap, Michael was the guard we play as in every game except 4, and that FNaF3 was the ending.

That makes the most sense to me, yeah.

Here's some more evidence:

Baby says: "I don't recognize you. You are new..."

Funtime Freddy says: "WELL, HEELLLOOO AGAAAIIIIIN!!!!" even though it's his first time meeting you.

It perfectly fits him saying "They didn't recognize me at first, but then, they thought I was you..."

With this, it could go either ways. He could be referring to what happened at the rental, or what happened during the minigames.

Yea, but has that ever been the first thing he says?
