I don't want the PG-13 rating for this movie either, but I do have to point out something here. Every game in the main series has the T rating, and that's basically the game equivalent to a PG-13 rating, so the "every game has above a PG-13 rating" argument is null and void.

the game is NOT a kids game the games are literally rated 18+, tv-17 if you cant handle that this is a horror franchise maybe you shouldn't be watching the memes of it i the first place its not a meme game its about child murder it literally shows your corpse in the first game stuffed in a suit there are dead kids inside the suits that's how they react more like humans due to their souls being trapped from springtrap [game 3 a child murderer] killing them and stuffing them inside the restaurant this is not a kids game by any means stop acting like it is maybe stop letting electronics teach kids and be involved with what they are looking at so you wont have morons like these mad at the horror company who is doing their job instead you get pissy because your kids are scared of the dark after you let them play a scary game well boo hoo be a better parent and don't let them play it actually discipline your kid scott himself didn't let his daughter or son play the game until they were 16+

Personally, I think it would be better if they didn't constrict themselves and force it into a PG-13 rating. You have more to work with when it's rated R and if you decide to make it PG-13 then you can edit out certain parts instead of working your way around the more gruesome things that happen in the games. I really don't care that there's a good amount of the fan base that aren't old enough to see an R rated film by themselves. I think a PG-13 rating can work, but it'd be better if they didn't force themselves to try and make it kid friendly.
