Battle with bheithir problems

When I face beheithir none of my arracks do any damage, but if thats not weird enough, none of bheithir does any damage to me either. I have left the chamber and gone back, I have restarted and even re-installed. Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?

I have the exact same problem! Got into the Tree of Life for the first time, met that guy, turned around and went straight back to the forge lands, and fast-traveled to her arena - and just as you describe, we can see eachother, and attempt to fight eachother, but it's like only the attack animations are playing, no contact is being made, no damage numbers, etc. Clearly some kind of glitch.

how is this bug almost 3 months old and hasn't been patched yet? not sure what to do about this.

- countering doesn't hit, she's targetable with the gun (does no damage) and the harpoon thing (pulls you to her, interestingly enough) - no AOE effects or anything seem to connect, and nothing she does touches you.

... and as I walk back through that dungeon, same story with all the other enemies - they spawn in, but they're actually even less interested than bheithir - they don't even go after me! if I summon my little ghoul guys they'll fight, but I can't target or hit them. I can pull the little bug things to me and crush them with the execution attack, but can't hit them with the revolver.

huh. wonder if I can go fight the boss with just the summoned ghouls? I tried the flock of crow attack and that did nothing as well.

edit - got it to work - quit the game, loaded it back up again, went through the tree of life and back again, walked all the way back in to the dungeon (no fast traveling!) and finally made it back up to the boss - and I could fight her, the enemies on the way in, everyone, no problem.
