Judicators tomb annoying glitch

First time I enter the tomb, i open the first door using the spirit ability, then as I enter the door I turn to my right and head into the side room, the door behind me closes, and a few creatures appear I assume I most fight, but none of them attack me, and I cant attack them, so I figured the game was acting up so I exited and restarted the game. As I enter Judicators tomb again, I head to the same spot only to find the side rooms door/gate is closed and will not open, and I can not continue the story without going this way. So my questions are....

1. Will uninstalling and installing the game fix the bug?
2. Will my saved game be truly saved on the steam cloud?
3. Is there anything easier I could do to fix this bug?

I don't know about question 1 or 3 but in regards to question 2 it shouldn't delete your save files on your computer when you uninstall the game but I recommend copying your save files and pasting them into a seperate folder anyway just incase. you can find your save files in c:Users/(your username)/Documents/My Games/Darksiders 2/(unique number)
