How does the season pass work?

I've been looking at Darksiders for a while but the Season Pass has kept putting me off. I've never really used these, could somebody explain what it is and how it works? I don't really want to be buying a game and have to keep re-buying the DLC for it if that's the case.

I was wondering that as well. Thats how I managed to get the Borderlands 2 DLC's so cheap. I bought the season pass and got them all for discount rather than buy each one. Does this work the same way?

Season pass only gives you 3 things.

1. Maker's Armor
2. The Abyssal forge
3. The demon Lord Belial


everything else you need to purchase seprate but no need to worry cause they are not creating new DLC for this game.


right now you can Buy Darksiders Franchise Pack for $14.99 and it includes everything.

You buy in steam store and it's automatically added to the list of dlcs for the game on the account you bought it.

IF you want to know what's the content of season pass then go to store page and read the description. It's basic English. It clearly says what the content is.

English language isn't my mother tongue, but I undestood what Season Pass is.
Description is simple and accurate - nothing is unclear. All items are listed and described so what's the issue?
You didn't bother to read the store page (it looks like, but why?) or you didn't understand it? (how come?) or you needed someone to recount the description of Seasons Pass for you? (why?).
I really don't understand the problems you have. The description for Season Pass is clear enough - all info is there, language is simple, so what's the deal?

Why would you believe another user's post if he just wrote things from the description of Season Pass? Why would you even ask for that? Store page descriptions are accurate - they have to be.

This game is older than 1 year so meaning of word "season" pass has changed. Also other dlcs have a simple warning that they're not included in Season Pass. Again - what's the problem?

Read descriptions as they are there to help make right decisions.

No it doesn't, unless you point me to this cryptic message.

Season Pass only comes with Demon Lord Belial + Abyssal Forge + Maker's Armor - read store page description.
Every other DLC is NOT included in Season Pass. Don't believe? Go to store page and read descriptions.
Separate DLCs have a warning "XYZ is not included in Season Pass which only contains DLB + AF + MA." - example based on Deadly Despair DLC

As I said. Season emplys that it lasts for a certain season. The name it's self suggests that there is a time limit on how long you own it for. I read the description on the store page and it does explain it gives access to DLC but again, i didn't want to pay for it if there was a time limit on it.. It didn't hurt anybody to just get re-assurance.

Love how people attack the OP for a "dumb" question, just to argue about WTH the season pass includes and WTH it does. LOL

And yes, there´s many instances where the season pass offered DLC are bought again as seperate DLC without getting a warning. Only get season pass if you really want the DLCs as soon as possible at a little discount. Many times, is better to just buy the stuff seperate.

Seson pass just means for that season only there will be a few dlc you will get in the season pass your just paying upfront for them at a cheaper price.
So you don't have to buy them individually.
(but do check store page on what dlc you get with season pass.)

you will keep them for as long as you have your steam account.
there is no time limmit on the season pass once you bought it,the dlc that comes with it are yours.

Lol, I just had the complete edition which i bought in the 2012 winter sale. It had arguls tomb, belial, death rides, abyssal forge, and all the weapons and armor. Franchise pack is the way to go especially since this game aint so new anymore.
