Too Easy

I'm enjoying this game a good bit, but there's just no challenge to be had here. I'm currently in Act II, and I am carving through literally dozens of skeletons without any real issue. I know which combos kill everything, I have two powerful possessed weapons, and Harvest basically just nukes everyone in range. And this is Apocalyptic! I literally cannot up the difficulty to be any higher. Darksiders 1 was still rather easy overall, but it at least had some challenge to it at times (Tiamat and Silitha in particular I found quite tough, along with some parts where I had to fight through waves of angels).

Anyone else find this to be an issue? I was hoping for a nice meaty challenge to be here. I'm thinking The Crucible will be the place I can get some real challenging gameplay, but are there any other tough areas or bosses?

Have you tried tackling the Deposed King? He can be a pain if you are not adequately prepared.
You will also face him on floor 75 of the Crucible.

Even so, however, the mere fact that I was able to beat several bosses 5 levels before I should've (if their drops are any indication) proves my point. In fact, I'm gonna go take on the Deposed King as soon as I finish the dungeon I'm currently in (can't recall the name-arena, I think?

that's funny actually tiamat and silltha are both easy ones in darksiders 1

Try fighting belthia without kiting her, try 100 rounds of crucible back to back, or that dungeon where you fought grom as soon as you got the chance (the fiery construct).

This game area based on level, so everything is gonna be easy if you outlevel or same level everything, I beat the deposed king at level 13 with him 1 shot me every time he connected with his hits, and I still considered him easy, and when you got the first health steal % items, everything is just easy cheesy

Beat Deposed King, and whoo! Now that's what I call a boss fight! Still, though, I apparently beat him 5 levels below what I was supposed to, and I beat if I was level 20 as I should have been it would'a been easy.

Belthia? She's the one who looks like Tiamat on fire, right? I didn't kite her-at least, I don't think I did. I went up and sliced her with my scythe and gloves, and when she breathed fire I darted behind her. As for the 100 Crucible Rounds? Planning on it. Gorn (AKA Grom) is a mission I haven't done yet, but I accept your challenge and will do it now (note-still too low level for it).
