Stuck finding an island town

Hello AR people. I got this game recently and played two save files for 10 hours each before I committed. Now I have Level 10+ in all types of magic and I'm clearing combats in 3 rounds or less. Death by combat isn't really a thing anymore and that's why I'm writing now.

So, I got my mojo up and running and started finishing quests, I made sure to have 2500 gp before changing locations, and I spent a lot of time harvesting silver and jade. Using my money and my quests that took me all across the map, I managed to put up a wizard tower with (spoiler? XXXX) fast travel.

Now I can go to any town in an instant and I finished dozens of quests until I only had a few. The main quest was challenging but I'm at a stuck place where everyone says that the next location for the quest is a town, across the sea, and I've taken a ship captain to the estimated location and there is nothing but water, no land, water to the edge of the map.

Does anyone know what I'm missing?

Wow, you sure have played the heck out of what we have so far of the game, congrats!

You aren't missing anything, the town should be where it says.

I'd like to know if there is something wrong with the directions or something is wrong with the quest. To do so, please log an in game report with the title 'Island Adventure' and I'll get someone to look at it. Reply back here once you've logged the report so I can find it.
