Here's a way to remove the mouse pointer when using controller

It was annoying me how every time you open the in game menu or map the mouse pointer pops up in the middle of the screen even though I'm using a controller (doesn't matter where you position the pointer, it always pops back up in the middle). I did some searching, and while there isn't a way to actually fix that with the game itself I found this little free app that auto hides a mouse pointer when there is inactivity.

PLEASE NOTE: I'm not spamming this, I have no affiliation with this app or its developers, it was just a good way to stop the mouse pointer from popping up, and it's free. Just thought I'd post this in case this issue was annoying anybody else.

thanks a lot for this man, been playing with controller on tv and when your way from the mouseit gets really annoying have to move to hide it. Great suggestion!

Thanks for the link. This program works great, though it's hard to believe it's even necessary since hiding the mouse when using a controller should be built in to the games.

Just make sure you turn it off to play witcher 3 wild hunt,The game does not like it.
