Game crashing issue here's how to fix it

Having issue with the game crashing when you start a new game?
Easy fix

step 1: Downloaded this file: at https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/2365-too-many-cores-crash-fix-lost-planet-2/

step 2: put it in your DS (Darksiders) folder for the game - To find DS folder > right click the DS game icon on your steam library > Manage > Browse local files

step 3: start the game and it should work
