Horseman (150 Mounted Kills) Not Unlocking

I know a semi-similar thread's been posted in the past, but the closest thing to a concrete answer never actually said whether or not their solution fixed things, and I actually have more information than the other thread did.

Specifically, it seems the "Horseman" achievement is completely bugged, in that no matter which method I try (Farming in the Crossroads, duplicating the riders in the Ashlands, farming the connecting road between the entry and arena), or how many demons, riders, Ghouls, or other enemies I kill, it's not being granted.

I have absolute confirmation it's literally only this, specific one with this issue, too,, as "Dark Rider" unlocked on the road to the Ashlands arena, and I then went on to also get Wrath Machine, Battle Hardened, The Final Challenger, You Call That Easy?, Balance Restored, and A True Horseman in the very same session/Steam log-in

As such, I've no idea what I could do to try and get it to work again, as most of the crossroads farming was done before I got the end-game weapon, yet nothing unlocked still. I would vastly prefer to not have to play up until that point in another file and start farming literally as soon as I get Ruin, so, I thus ask:

Has anyone figured out a way to fix this?

did you alt tab or crash while trying to do this achievement, by any chance? There is a bug in this version of the game (fixed in Warmastered) where crashing or alt tabbing during the game interrupts achievement tracking and it does not resume until you close both the game and Steam completely and relaunch them.

I don't know how I spaced mentioning it in the opener, but yes, I exited out of Steam completely, and relaunched prior to the session where I got the listed-sequence of unlocks, given some frame-rate-tanking and save bugging disabled literally every achievement for me previously.

Since then, though, I've followed my unlocking of Aerial Predator with going back into two previous saves (one before grabbing the last piece of Abyssal armour, and one before even collecting all pieces of the Armageddon Blade, much less forging it), and farming up 150 mounted kills in each, to no avail.

As such, I've now no clue whatsoever when the flag for said achievement gets erroneously disabled, and since the only earlier save I have is both in Apocalyptic, and before one even gets into the second dungeon, I've no way to easily check.

Update:

I've still no clue specifically where and/or how things got disabled, but I finally sat down and played through a save I made just after meeting Ulthane, opting to try doing this achievement the literal first possible time once could (After getting Ruin, and beating the non-boss Sandworm).

This actually saw the it unlocking, and once that had been done, I bomb-smacked weakened spiders in the Iron Canopy until both Improvised Kills, and BFA unlocked.

As such, if you've found your Horseman achievement's not being rewarded, load a pre-or-just-after-ruin-reunion save and try to get it then.
