Any thoughtw on the Shop Heroes 2 Legends

So yesterday saw the email from cloudcade for this - and since I've seen nothing Steam side was wondering if anyone else had looked at or tried it.

I'm not surprised they made a new game, since I guess with Shop Heroes original history the development team had a lot of restrictions on what they could do.

I'm reluctant overall - don't need another new game, platform, or set of potential (likely) paywalls to be faced with.

And I know steam isn't' there preferred platform, but not even a mention trying to drag what few people here over...

Haven't looked at it yet. Apparently mobile-only and play store comment seem to suggest it has been in region-limited beta over there for a few months now. (and beta players didn't get reset, so are at the level cap of I think lvl 50 already(?))

UI sucks and it's annoying to do literally anything.

It is global now from 2nd July.
I tried for a few hours.
As MeatShake said, UI sucks especially crafting slots. The old UI is better.
It seems the gears do not have the ability anymore, which is the unique charm that Shop Titans does not have.
You unlock hero by collecting their soul stone and the funny thing is you can summon a duplicate hero, each of them has the random skill, then use it for quests or promoting the other hero. This hero system is more similar to Shop Titans, but ST allows you to create heroes by using in-game currency. The gear still breaks but you can repair with gold several times until it is gone forever. No way to prevent breaking as there is no Balmung's ability in game yet.
And yes, they still sell you unique crafter such as Jack of all trades for a hefty price.
If you wanna play, just think of it as a hybrid of Shop Hero and Shop Titans.
However, I prefer they keep the old system to be more unique from Shop Titans.
As of now, I would rather play ST instead of the legend.

"Well, there is only one question to be answered...WHYthe hell do you guys destroy a brilliant community by giving us a "new" game, looking like from 1990, its not a sequel, its a prequel...instead of taking those newer game mechanics and implement them into the beloved SH Classic...nobody will start over and invest all the money and time again to get where they were...CC destroyed his community, the "compensation" code is truely a big joke...you guys let SH die...nobody wants to play this crappy looking game so called "legends"...every noob in UE5 can make good looking stuff...in 3-6 months, CC will notice that this was the all deciding mistake of their whole career...thanks for nothing, i'm writing this for all those players which loved SH, even when it was get boring after a few years, but we wished and WE GAVE YOU IDEAS enough to improve SH. Tried Legends briefly, didn't vibe with it. Hope this SH survives

i dont think so tbh - things are starting to break and theyre not going to fix them i dont think. Im willing to give the new one a try but i already play ST and dont see the point in playing 2 games so alike - but then how many games of other types do you have more than one of? I have at least 8 farming games and theyre all alike so meh - its worth a shot.
