Edgebee, company that made S&P2 is dead, so probably that's why game got deleted
But I did hear it's the same company. Maybe they changed names.
As far as CC US stealing the idea/IP and CC Canada creating another company that makes a similar game, I have often been confused about things like this. I suppose it comes down to, did a company take actual code and re-use it? If they did not, then even if their game is very similar, it was not a copy. Because there are certainly so many games out there with a similar look and feel. For example, after World of Warcraft became popular, there were a lot of free mmorpgs that copied some of the same ideas and graphics style of WoW, even if the general game world, character races, and factions were all different.
But if they did re-use code like we've heard of for some games that were re-branded by ex-members of the old group, and even if graphics or concept varies a little, it's a copy, and so it would be something to sue for.
