Community Update: Heroes and Charms Edition!
Greetings Shopkeepers!

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving with family and friends, enjoyed some of the in- game events we had running and of course took part in our recent contest.

Be sure to keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook Pages for these!

https://www.facebook.com/shopheroes/
https://twitter.com/shopheroesgame

That being said, I know folks have been wondering where we have been recently as I’ve personally been a bit too quiet on the Community front with you guys.

Let’s just say I was buried neck deep going through everything you guys have had to share over the last few years which is quite a lot as so many of you have provided amazing feedback, incredible suggestions and insightful thoughts. We take all that to heart.

We should be getting back to a better cadence for general discussion with what we have in the works from the Teams over the next few months and especially with what I have planned for you as a Community.

Stay Tuned for that!

That being said, I think we are long overdue for some Update News right?!

First things first, we will more than likely have some downtime for maintenance with this one which should be around 2-4 hours.

Our ETA for the Update is later tonight around 9pm PST.

I’ll keep you all posted on this and I do apologize for the extremely short notice.

The Update:

New Heroic Package #3 ‘Yue Takes the Field of Battle’!

We are very excited to be adding in the latest Hero you’ve all been seeing walking around your shops!

A bit about Yue:

A poor farmer’s boy from the Far East, he lived in a village oppressed by the local Warlord. Jumping at the first chance to enlist in the Royal Army, he quickly earned the respect of his superiors.

Preparing for the coming war ahead, Yue looks forward to finally relieving his family from the terror reigns he’s grown up with.

New Hero: Yue (Level 15 - 55, Fighter, No building cap)

Quest Skills:
Resilient 3: Obtain at least 100% of experience when injured and quest is successful (Level 3)
Weapon Master (Unique): Increases equipment strength by 35% (Level 25)
Commander 3 (Leader): Increases the strength of everyone in the party by 50% (Level 35)

3 Unique Arena Abilities:
Underdog: When Yue's opponent's power is increased, increase Yue's power by 40% (Level 18)
High Morale: When any ally wins, power of allies to the left and right of Yue is increased by 15% (Level 27)
Shared Fate: When Yue loses, decrease the power of the opponent's right teammate by 99% (Level 36)

Exclusive Line of 6 Blueprints:

Sunetter (Level 6 Bow, Speedrunner 1 at Legendary)
Imperial Edict (Level 17 Spell, Leader 1 at Flawless)
Honor Mail (Level 24 Heavy Armor, Reive 2 at Legendary)

Family Heirloom (Level 44 Potion, Resourceful 3 at Mythic)
Rebellion (Level 54 Spear, Energetic 2 at Mythic)

Exclusive White Tiger Decoration (interior) Reduce the heal time of injured heroes 3%

Next up for the Update we have something that we’ve talked about introducing in the past so hopefully you are all just as excited as we are!

Introducing: The Fusion Charm System

So what is the Charm System?

Charms are going to be used to improve Fusion success chances. Please note only one Charm can be used at a time per Job so plan accordingly!

Here’s what you can expect!
Ultimate Charm - +75% success chance regardless of attempted Fusion or Enchant Level
Powerful Charm - +50% success chance regardless of attempted Fusion or Enchant Level
Basic Charm - +25% success chance increase up to Mythical, cannot be used for Enchant

These will be made available for purchase through the In-Game Store.

While we get this system rolled out, we will be crediting all players a few of each type as a gift to start with and then eventually, they will be made as earnable rewards throughout the game.

Additional Notes:
◆Bug Fixes and Localization Improvements
◆Updated FAQ
◆Chat Filter Adjustments and Fixes
◆A Throwback Package just in time for the Holidays!

Good to see innovation

Will there be a way for players to get fusion charms without spending money? Like a rare random chance from chests and bags? Or maybe Gem purchases?

They haven't specified yet where through any medium. Raid? Cold War/City vs City? elsewhere? :-|

Sorry to say, but Shop Heroes updates are becoming worse each time they go online.

It seems like each update is just meant to get money out of the peoples pocket, but wont add anything really new to the game itself.
Off course there is a new hero now, there is the new charm system now...if you wanna pay for them.
But no new recipes are being released, no new quests/raids, if you dont pay for the recipes at least.

In my city, there are some people, who say they just play the game for fun, they would even buy some items or heroes, but they dont feel the game is worth it, because of the lack of updates for the common player base.
Yue for example was announced in a very interesting way, people in my city had hope for some content update.
In the end they got dissapointed and really mad with the devs.

I myself struggle to buy items myself, one side of me says i should by some gems or a hero/crafter.
The other side of me then stops me, because i dont see development taken place for this game, just another item being released to pull money out of peoples pocket.
In the end, the side stoping me to buy anything wins this.

So i hope there are people who feel the same and tell the devs so, because i hope the game will get some updates for real in the future.

Next update should be Ancient Egypt pack(s), it was said we'd get heroes, both male and female, so we're missing at least 1 after just Yue got released and dev diary mentioned Cold War/City vs City for "early 2019", which should hopefully be actual new content. :-|

Expanding heroes/workers/quests/blueprints to lvl 60, like has been done twice before (40->50, 50->55) would be kind of minimal-ish content, since it wouldn't really add much other than shifting hellfire/aragonite blueprints from end to late game and adding a new tier of unquestable artifacts and people with Revive teams not having to change anything team-wise to run hellfire/aragonite vs gaia/horns right now...
