De-mystifying Stealth-system & Soft-covers in Eximius

Hi all, this is a common question in our community.
How does stealth work? Why does AI shoot at me while i'm stealth etc.

Anyway here are the notes :

👁️ 1. By default, stealth system cannot be seen / spotted by AI units. Stealth unit can be 'detected' ( showed as red tint ) when being shot at, or scanned , or spotted in close distance ( 3-5m for infantry ). All static turrets ( base defense or those placed by commander ) can also detect stealth in radius.

👁️ 2. When a unit is hit by another target and they cannot see it ( either due to YOUR stealth or you're out-of-range of that target. The team acknowledges the area contains a suspicious target. Units nearby will fire at it blindly, showed by the swaying of the red line..

👁️ 3. Sometimes when a unit is hit during this random shot, rule (1) apply and they get detected.

👁️ 4. If you're already detected and being 'tracked' going into stealth will not change this until their vision refresh. ( usually few seconds ).

Notes on Soft Cover ( objects that block vision but don't block weapon shots ) :

🌚 1. Soft cover blocks new vision. AI cannot spot you , but if commander scans the area or someone else form another angle spots you , everyone can see you. Turrets can also detect you across soft covers.
🌚 2. But just because you're seen doesn't mean it's meaningless. If you're behind soft cover, the AI will still lose accuracy firing at you. They will fire less accurately. This will only affect those units where there is a soft cover between you and them.
🌚 3. Soft covers = Smokes grenade, IFV smokescreen, Stealth Walls by Covert Vanguard , Grenade Launcher with Smoke Grenade
