After a year and a half of development, AstroScaper 1.0 is finally here. We hope you have as much fun building your colonies as we had creating the game!

AstroScaper is our take on the relaxing puzzle city-builder: colonize procedurally generated asteroids, build gridlessly across every side, discover building synergies, create train networks and turn barren space rocks into thriving colonies.

Who would've thought that what started as a friendly rivalry on the ISLANDERS leaderboards would eventually result in us releasing AstroScaper today? Maybe it'll inspire some of you to create something of your own one day!

We're proud of the game we're releasing today, but we've also learned a ton while making AstroScaper - and we already see plenty of things we'd like to keep improving. Expect more updates in the coming weeks!

For starters, the Player Statistics view is coming soon! We're already tracking everything it needs, including your total completed Expedition maps, but the view itself didn't quite make it into the launch build. Your stats are already being saved, though, so don't worry - it'll be there when the statistics view arrives!

• Holding Left Shift while placing buildings now allows you to zoom the camera instead of rotating the building.

• Added a quicker way to cycle through customization items: Next Building Color, Next Logo, Next Logo Color, and Next Monument shortcuts (F5–F8 by default) can now be configured in the Settings menu.

• Improved readability of overlapping popups.

• Updated building models.

• Updated music.

• Updated credits.

• Improved clarity of placement overlay hints (Shaded, Sunlit, etc.).

• Improved the All icon in the building filter.

• Improved tutorial skip/end messages.

• Unlocking a special logo no longer incorrectly displays a red notification dot on the Collectibles menu button.

• Building names in the Collectibles menu are now localized.

• Fixed layout issues on 16:10 displays.

Thank you once again for being here for our launch! After a year and a half of working on AstroScaper, it's a little surreal to finally press that green button and send the game out into the world. Whether you've been following us for months or you're discovering the game today, we hope you'll have a great time building your colonies among the stars.
