How i kill the Phoenix? "BOSS"

Hello,
i need a Tip to kill the Boss "....red Phoenix". (purpurroter Phönix in german)
I tryed it now 20 Times with different weapons, no success.
Any ideas?

get the weapon that removes status effects so you can reduce burn damage on your weapons. Focus all fire on the hull and destroy it 5 times. Each time it respawns, notice the hull has less HP then before. Good luck and keep potatoing!

That's a tough boss! It's also where I am currently at in the game. I decided to pass it by for now and finish exploring the galaxy before trying again. One thing I did find that helped in my attempts was the weapon that changed the weather to "dark" which got rid of the fire storm.

During my exploration of that galaxy, I also came across a crew member who is immune to fire, which should help a lot when I try it again, but I'm guessing he's random.

Haha yeah I admit I had that one loaded when I finally beat the phoenix. That and just massive overpowering damage weapons (Big Red Button, Jim Beam, and Phoenix Fire wave gun) that let me ignore the shards and just pound at the "hull." (although the game apparently doesn't consider the Phoenix health as hull, as Leech Vine from 2 prior attempts did not work on it.)

I used the umbrella that changed weather to clear. That was all it took to stop the fire stack from building up and destroying me.

I forget the name... but there is a wave gun that removes debuffs. or maybe it just removes burning. either way, it is really helpful. As well as having a healing weapon in the fight.

It's called Soap Spray. The good thing is, you can easily buy it from the Hub.

still impossible to beat, this boss is the only good reason to not buy the game. i can't geat the umbrella and sopa is not engouth (get fire each time). With all upgrade.... Impossible to leave the galaxy. The normal mode can't exist with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boss like this, all the rest of the game are so easy

I know this is an ancient thread, but if anyone else is stuck and is reading this, my recommendation would be a soap spray, a phoenix fire, and 2 laser pointers. Use one of the "fast and relentless" charge capacitors. Use Fay as a pilot. Always fire the phoenix fire each turn and use the soap spray if you are burning. Use the laser pointers to take out it's "hull." Hope this helps.
