I don't know why I got this game (probably a Humble Choice) especially when I disliked the other Holy Potato games. The endless potato and food puns are tiring; but if you like that kind of thing this might be for you. The game play is like a grindy version of FTL, with a lot less flexibility and much more RNG looting. I wish the game had replayability, it seems that there are various chapters available - unfortunately the chapters are all identical: travel to a planet, then either explore it or boss battle. Rinse and repeat. The enemies are varied in that they have different ships that will have "different" types of weapons, shield or no shield, will run away, ram or self destruct when they are out of weapons, but functionally the combinations are the same. If they had FTL's boarding mechanic that might have made this more fun. Massive achievement grind too which I really can't be bothered. Can't really recommend this, wasted 24 hours grinding to the end for an incomplete story.
