Frenzy achievement (100 kills frenzy)

I’m trying to unlock this achievement on PS4. I get Frenzy only a handful of times a run, no joke. I believe I’m on NG+ 2. Is there a good way to get this? Specific level? On a specific difficultly? I have almost everything maxed out.

Seems a bit silly to have this achievement so RNG based; I completed all the other achievements weeks ago.

Oh and the Blob boss fight on the easiest difficulty still is almost impossible for me ...getting them down to 1/5 life and finally dying. Anyways thanks in advance!

Explosive ammo plus +3 NG, at minimum. Do not forget to get double cannon, explosive enemies, infinite ammo with specials before, the more the better, and turn on the hard mode to get many enemies to blow away. Blob is the hardest one, but with molotovs to hold enemies and the second ammo to hit the green balls is not that difficult.
