LMMFAO !
Just wow, it never ends.
I'm not a "PC purist" ( I do use a controller) but there is absolutely nothing wrong with the way the cars are coded in this game. The cars handle exactly as intended.
Practice , practice and more practice is all that is needed. But once you get it, there is a lot of fun and mayhem to be found !
You are COMPLETELY correct! I remember playing the original on my huge CRT monitor back in the day with keyboard and mouse. Everybody wants instant gratification when starting a new game. I remember how frustrating it was starting out, but I LOVED the concept. Ended up finishing the entire game and getting all the cars! This game is making me re live that awesome moment of my life. <3
you're just bad
not after games like burnout takedown, wreckfest and flatout came out..
having these handling files and an option, yeah, good idea!
this game isnt strong enough (as in fun to play) to just wing that away. sales and ratings prove it.
but hey! you cannot be wrong! you finished the damn slog.
lol.
go play in multiplayer and tell me the game's worth your money. and, btw, early supporter here.
Mayhem and killing your opponents is the name of the game in Carmgeddon. Always was.
Multiplayer is dead, it was DOA because of several factors, none of which had a thing to do with the car handling.
Now, I remember when I wanted a zippy, maneuverable car in 2, I'd drive the Purple Piledriver, but I'm not sure if that's in this or not. That thing was made of tinfoil, but it had a good mix of speed and handling when I wasn't looking to blow up all the other cars.
