"bad" controls

Like how do I explain it.

I love this game right... but it feels like the cars are tanks with bad handling.

Can I fix this, beucase other than thisI love the game....

I see sometimes in games when handling in games are crap people exagerrate it.

But seriously watchdog 1s car handling is good compared to this

Mario Kart on SNES has better controls than this

The car handling in this game is exactly as intended, and is faithful to the original Carmageddon games from 1997-1998. There is a learning curve in this game as in most games.

"If you are racing in this game you are playing it WRONG."

This game is about killing your opponent, stealing laps and points, killing pedestrians and just generally reeking havoc. This game is NOT about hottlapping and setting lap times, it is NOT about outrunning your opponents. It never was about bona fide "Racing".
This game isn't broken, there is nothing to fix.
This games coding is as intended, and most players realize this fact.

There are some mods available to change the car handling, but you will lose the ability to have saves or to progress in the career from what I have read in other threads.

Awesome, can it be fun though, like good controls.

It is fun and it has good controls. What it doesn't do is hold your hand and drive the car for you if you just hold down the accelerator, you have to actually control it yourself.
