FORTIFY

FORTIFY

Exit after start
Hi!
I tried to use fortify but after the start it's quitting. I did integrity check, uninstall-install and also starting with different resolutions/quality and same effect. Rust and the other unity based games works well.

After steam restart update requested, I did, same effect. I checked the app directory for crash log but nothing (and also nothing output log) and the common unity editor directory at the app data but nothing. Strange.

hmm... I downloaded to my Asus T101HA windows10 tablet (it's much more strict config than the previous specified and clean first install... same effect... Only one thing is similar on the two computer: Unity3D installed on both (but not started)

Both not working is very strange. This is the only startup problem I've heard of in a long time.
There should be a crash log. Try using "-force-d3d9" in the steam launch options.
oh no crash, but the output log shows:

The last installed CSteamworks.dll size is 137216 byte on disk. I did search for the error and few developere referred to the steam_api.dll ... It is exist in the Plugins and in the app root folder with different size (in root: 213072, Fortify_Data\Plugins\ 221984 bytes)

Your install has steam_api.dll in the plugins folder and in the app root?
yes, but different size..
at the plugins: size 221984 bytes (file version: 3.92.72.58)
at the app root: size 213072 bytes (file version 3.42.61.66)

I overwrited the root with the newer and it works... I test the clean install
Before reinstall now I deleted the folder with total commander... The steam uninstall looks not full delete. It working now. Good news, if somebody has this problem you have a method :)
